I got a staph infection on my finger that developed

Patient

Q: I got a staph infection on my finger that developed into an abscess some months ago. It was drained and treated with Augmentin. A couple months later, I started feeling pain on that same finger, so I went to the doctor, they gave me Augmentin again and it went away. A few days ago the pain came again on my thumb and it turned into a felon that had to be drained. Why am I getting these recurrent Staph skin infections? I am an otherwise healthy person. I never get sick.
