I got shingles while out of the country Upon my

Patient : I got shingles while out of the country. Upon my return, I had my annual and my white blood count was 2.0. I had always been in the normal range. My doctor retested in a month's time and it is now 2.8. Should I be alarmed? Or is this the body slowing healing myself? A message was just left and I did not have an opportunity to ask the doctor. I am to assume it will gradually go back up to the normal ranged. Thank you
Symptoms:  Somewhat tired
