Patient :I had a laparoscopy on May 7th, to check the current condition of my endometriosis before hysterectomy (Scheduled June 5th). My groin incision (Directly under navel, just below the hip bones) this evening was slightly raised, slightly red, with a blackish/dark red spot off to one side of the incision. It was not warm to the touch, and did not hurt, but the surrounding skin was obviously irritated. I squeezed it to allow drainage in case it WAS infected. The color that came out was a mixure of red, dark red, and kind of whiteish, all mixed together. I just finished my period. Could this be an implant on my incision already, or an infection? I do have other implants on my previous laparoscopy scars, that do fill up in conjunction with my menses, but if that's what this is, this is the fastest it has presented. I am still having abdominal pain, but I attribute that to the lasering they did on some of the implants and scar tissue. Plus, my first laparoscopy took much longer than this for the pain to stop also.
