Patient

Q: I had my hysterectomy about 5 years ago today I started to spot a little bit. Should I be concerned.
I had Pecos and endometriosis

Doctor

A:   Hello,
Thanks for the query.

Spotting after a hysterectomy is not normal. It could be due to atrophic vaginitis or senile vaginitis. The other causes could be secondary endometriosis or metastasis.
Kindly consult a gynecologist for an examination and investigations to rule out the above causes.

Hope this helped.
Regards
