I have a pain in my finger when I straighten

Q: I have a pain in my finger when I straighten it or move it side to side. it does not hurt however when I apply pressure to it, or when I bend it. it has been like this for three months now and I have not done anything out of the ordinary. some days the pain is worse than others.

no inflammation of swelling.

I am unable to see a doctor for another six weeks at least and wondered if anybody knew what could be the problem, and any ways in which to help ease the pain.
