Patient :I am 14 and my school have been making me do alot more running than usual. My knee is sore to bend and is sore when you move it at an angle. My knee cracks if I swing it back and forth at a slight angle when it didn't crack before. It is hard to walk up and down stairs as my knee gets sore and starts to give way. It sometimes when I rest it. I did running today and the pain has went behind my knee. My foot is paler and the joint is warm. It looks a little bit different to the other knee. I have uses and pain relief gel on it but it hasn't taken effect as the pain as continued. I can't stand on one leg for long as there will be a sharp pain inside the knee. I can bend my knee fully. The pain mostly goes away when I run but does come back for a second. I took a symptom checker and it said it was possible I had Osteomyelitis and septic arthritis. If you could tell me what I have then I will be very grateful.
