Patient :I have been having a back pain for going on 3 weeks now. I don't know how it happened. I was at work and all of a sudden it felt like a mussel was righting up and got worse as the day went on. It's not really a shap pain nor a dull pain. Just some where in between and very uncomfortable. It just below my left shoulder on the left of my spine and wraps around down to my lower ribs. It's a constant pain. It almost feels like a very twisted muscle or like a big marble pressing hard against a mussel trying to come out. When I get up in the mornings it seams to be not there but a few hours into the day it begins to show up and gets worse. I whent to a chiropractor for 3 days straight. He's checked for a broken rib and none apparent. He said it's a dislocated rib and most times it takes up to 3 treatment to fix it. Well it's been 2 days sence that and I still have the pain to the same degree. Is there anything else that it could be or to fix the problem?
