I have currently been on the injection as a method
Patient :I have currently been on the injection as a method of contraception, I am a 17 year old female in a relationship with my boyfriend of 5 months, we were both virgins beforehand. However as a result of being on the injection I did not bleed for 2 and a half months, however recently as we were having sex I started bleeding half way through and stopped it felt as if I needed to urinate, I stopped and went to go and urinate and found a lot of blood in the toilet, and continued to bleed for a couple of days, once stopped we tried again and it resulted in the same and I started bleeding and still am which has now been a couple of days. I never found myself bleeding before this and I never bled when I had sex not even when losing my virginity we had no problems before this, however now it feels like something is almost as if blocking inside my vagina during sex, I am booked in to get the injection on the 1st of June as that is when it lasts until. The bleeding becomes a lot more obvious once I go to the bathroom to pass urine, however I am still having to wear pads and change it as I am bleeding without going to urinate as well. This seems to be triggered by sex the past two times, I started bleeding half way through having sex which resulted in me bleeding for around a week, a couple of days later when I had stopped bleeding and had sex again I found myself bleeding for around a week too and currently still am, it can stop for a couple of hours and then continue. We do not use condoms. However I am not seeing a doctor until the 1st and wondered if this should be a concern or how I can have sex without bleeding? A friend has mentioned it could be linked to not being wet enough, however I always find that has never been a problem with my boyfriend and I always am as we have foreplay before, the sex doesn't seem rougher than usual however I would just like some advice. I have also recently had a urine infection but it did not clear so I got given medication again to clear it and have t give a urine staple and vaginal swab back on the 1st, however I have no hiring when I pass urine and feel a lot better now.
