I have had rotator cuff tendonitis for about 4 years

Patient : I have had rotator cuff tendonitis for about 4 years now and there's days it'll bother me a lot and others it won't. I started going to the gym and lifting weights 3 1/2 weeks ago and it's starting to hurt to the point I can't move it without there being pain. I have taken naproxen for it in the past and that helped but I'm out and was looking at other options. Would you recommend getting naproxen again or a corticosteroid shot?
