Patient :I have recurrent UTIs. Just began to have symptoms of one yesterday. The first few times I consulted a doctor and got antibiotics, however, the later times, I was able to get rid of the symptoms by forcing water and flushing out the bacteria frequently. This time, the pain is the exact same as before - the pressing need to urinate and then a disappointingly painful few drops, but coupled with a raging flu and menstrual pains, I can not bear it anymore and need quick relief. Consulting a doctor is hard and out of budget for me. I have a bunch of ammoxicillin tablets at home, 500 mg each. I know this antibiotic is used frequently to treat UTIs. What dosage would you recommend I take? Should I just endure the pain and try to flush the bacteria out?
Symptoms: Painful urination, frequent urge to urinate
