I recently learned I was born with a sacral dimple
Patient :I recently learned I was born with a sacral dimple that went unnoticed at birth. My mom informed me that I didn't attempt to try to walk until I was 15 months old and if she tried to stand me up I would pull my legs away from the ground. Since I can remember I have had back and leg pain in which doctors would give me therapy exercises for. It never helped. I am 30 years old and if I laugh too hard, cough, sneeze, jump, I urinate. The same goes for bowel movements. If I'm not close to a bathroom when the urge hits, most likely I will be going in my pants. Most recently I've noticed an intense burning in my right leg starting in my right buttock and radiating throuout my entire thigh. I need advice as to what is going on with my body and what I can do to ensure my family doctor will listen to my problems and try to get to the bottom of it. Thank you for your time and I will be looking forward to receiving any information that can help me.
