Patient

Q: I splashed one drop of industrial dishwashing soap in my eye and twelve hours later is a little irritated. I did apply drops (naphalozine) but it still somewhat red. Should I just keep flushing it with water?

Doctor

A:   Hello,
Welcome to ATD. Thank you for the query.

Chemical injury to the eye is serious and can threaten your vision. Seek immediate emergency medical care and keep flushing your eye with water till then.

Take care.
