I sprained my left ankle while playing football I don't

Patient

Q: I sprained my left ankle while playing football. I don't remember twisting it, all i remembered was hearing a crack sound and then fell to the ground. Limped my way to the hospital, had an xray and the GP said there was no visible fracture. Been 2days but my foot is still swollen. The round thing on the side of my foot, the back of the ankle and all the way to the other end hurts. The part slightly above the round thing is also hurting. When i walk it hurts and i am limping. I cant tip toe or jump with my affected foot. Turning my foot feels like i might just snap a bone. Could it be more than just a sprain? Thanks for your help. Sorry for the long post.
