I think I may have a perforated ear drum My

Patient : I think I may have a perforated ear drum. My ear has been ringing for weeks (which I thought would go away as I had just finished my medication for fluid build up behind my ear. The week after my medication everything was fine except for the ringing until suddenly on tuesday some if my hearing went cloudy. It got better the next day but my hearing in that ear is still a bit off. Yesterday I felt an infection coming on and fluid began to build up in front of my ear but suddenly it drained into my middle ear(I think It drained through the hole in my eardrum, is this possible? ) and then the luquid started draining out my eyes. Some liquid still remains in my middle ear and is draining out my eyes, but there is no infection. Unfortunately I can only go to the doctor in two weeks due to money issues. What can I do until then to prevent an infection? Will this heal by itself? Will the liquid in my middle ear cause an infection? I should also say that I think my ear perforated about 4 weeks ago and was in the process of healing when I lost my hearing this week. I was previously at the doctor but I think he misdiagnosed me as having fluid build up and not a perforation. I am currently in no pain. My mother is forcing me to take these eardrops because she believes my 'self diagnosis' is ridiculous. How can I convince her of the damage it can have (it says on the box it can't be used on perforated ear drums)
