I use a prescribed nasal spray for my chronic sinusitis

Patient

Q: I use a prescribed nasal spray for my chronic sinusitis twice a day but it doesn't always work and most of the time it gets in the back of my throat and makes me very ill (I don't tilt my head too far back or forward). I read the next step is surgery but in the long run it isn't great because of the build up of scar tissue. Do I have any other options? I'm only in my 20's and the pain is getting worse and more frequent. Thank you
