Patient : I was diagnosed with glandular fever a week ago and with 'quite abnormal' liver function test results. I have been referred to a hepatology consultant, but am told this may take a while, even with an urgent referral. My issue is that the Dr has now just left me to it and I am unsure if I should completely rest, or try to do things and also in terms of the liver function, should I be worried? It feels like all my insides hurt and am just shattered. Headaches are not as bad as they were, sore throat was never too bad and is gone, not feverish any more, just now exhausted, glands still up, nauseous, small appetite and constipated and when I do go it's hard, then very loose and yellowish in colour. Am drinking 2 litres water a day, so urine is quite light in colour.
Symptoms:  Glandular fever, abnormal liver function
