I was expecting to start menopause, could I be pregnant?

Patient : I am 51 years old. I had a tubal 12 years ago and thought I would be starting menopause soon as my sisters were this age when they did. I have had regular periods and had one last month. I am feeling movement in my belly and it is regular. Being that I have already had five children, I am familiar with this feeling. I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. Is there anything else that would cause that butterfly feeling in my belly on the lower left side?
