I went to a nurse practitioner today for a UTI

Patient : I went to a nurse practitioner today for a UTI ive had for a week and a half. I also went becaise my kidneys have been hurting, and ive had problems with them since late january. I have not went to the doctor over it until now, its been on and off pain. However, when i went to the practitioner today she gave me prescription for my uti but said that if i get a fever to go to the er, as it was possible the infection could have went my kidneys. I took my first prescription almost 11 hours ago. The frequency has stopped, but i still sting when i pee, and the ache in my back where my kidneys are, is more noticeable. I feel weak and nauseous, if i went to the er now, would they do anything about it, or would they just tell me what the practitioner said?
Symptoms:  UTI, kidney pain, nauseous, headache, weak
