Do get a complete and differential WBC count for definite diagnosis and treatment accordingly. Till then try these remedies: Gargling with warm salt water, using ice chips, throat sprays, or lozenges Over-the-counter cough and cold medications to help ease symptoms Supportive therapy to help you keep up your strength and recover as quickly as possible. Try to drink extra fluids, get extra sleep, and eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of fruits vegetables high in vitamin C Hope this helps.Take care.
