Patient :I'm 16 years old so ruling out any sexual / oral transmitted diseases*
Me and my mother traveled to Maryland from Monday-Thursday ( which we did eat out at restaurants; maybe this could have caused it).
On the third day of our trip I started having very dry lips mind you it's pretty chilly where I live currently. So as a normal person I applied carmex. The day after my chapped lips started to form bumps!
When I don't touch them they don't seem to bother me but when I come in contact with them they make me feel so uncomfortable. I also get sudden itches around the rim of my lip where most of the bumps have formed. I've never had any issues with my lips before. I cant even open my mouth enough to eat!
Description of what it looks like:
When I first wake up I have a hard crust formed right around where these bumps are and also on the corners. Its like a yellowish color
When I wipe it off and apply Vaseline the bumps are very visible just a tad red, itchy, not burning but sore. none of this rash leaves my lips. On the corners no matter how much lip balm I apply to them they're so dry and crack whenever I open my mouth a little too much.
Symptoms: Dry lips, Crust on my lips, cracking, Bumps on lips
