I'm 22 years old and I suffer from PCOS I

Patient

Q: I'm 22 years old and I suffer from PCOS. I went through amenorrhea for around a year. My ob/gyn prescribed Diane 35 and I've been on it for 4 months now. My acne is much better and my period is regular now, but my concern is about my weight. I used to weigh 53 before I started taking the pills and now I'm 58 kg despite working out rigorously and eating a low calorie healthy diet. Is this normal? My doctor keeps telling me that the pills are unlikely to cause any weight gain but I'm not convinced, especially that I am not doing anything wrong concerning diet and exercise.
