Patient :I'm a 34 year old man in good health. For over two years I've had heavy throbbing pain in my chest in the upper left side. I recall it first began a few weeks after having blunt force trauma to that location while working. I've been to the VA on several occasions with no solid diagnosis. Heart issues and cancer has been ruled out, via x-rays and blood work but still no diagnosis. The pain tends to come and go on a long loop, where it will last week's to a month and stop, then it starts again with no sign of getting worse or better. Any thoughts to this mystery would be appreciated, thankyou.
