I’m a small kid. Should i try using creatine?

Patient: I am 16 years old and have been lifting weight for a little over 2 years now, but lately I have not been seeing much progress at all. I am 6’1″ and 140 pounds, so I’m a lot smaller than i really should be. I want to start using creatine, but I’m not sure if it’s safe. Should I start using it, and are there any side effects?
