IN SEVERE PAIN

Patient

Q: I was seen in the hospital Thursday for severe abdominal pain, lower back pain, pelvic pain, anal pain with gas and bowel movement, the pain is sudden and brings me to my knees. The doc started an iv with fluids, roceffin, morphine, tordol, and nausea meds. He wouldn't do a pelvic exam bc I was having pain and vaginal bleeding. I had my son 7 wks ago. He sent me home with 500mg cipro 1pill 2x daily for 10 days, Vicodin 1-2 every 4-6hrs, and 600mg motrin. Informed me to come back if I wasn't feeling better by the wkend. Now my pain is getting stronger and lasting longer especially when I walk or am doing household chores. What should I do?
