Incontinence after operation to remove stone from bladder

Patient

Q: My husband had an op to remove stone from bladder through his penis. He had epidural. Since the operation he is experiencing incontinence. He is able to stop the flow of urine mid stream, so that is not the problem. It appears he is leaking urine in between needing to go to the toilet. What is going on? His operation was 25th October. Is this normal and will it get better? Thanks, Pamela Penketh
