Patient : I am a 58 year old male who is shortly going into hospital for a replacement hip. Although I do not have any concerns about the hip operation, I am petrified as to explaining to the hospital staff about my bladder problems. Having suffered Multiple Prolapsed Disc's in 4 levels some years ago and being advised that I have an unstable bladder then I just don't know how to go about telling the hospital staff that I wear incontinence pants both day and night. Equally in understanding how they will cope with my incontinence.
