Increased activity, difficulty losing weight.

Q: Hi,
During my second pregnacy I gained a lot of weight and recently decided to lose it. I used to be very active, so I decided to start a fitness regimin of 60 min per day - 5 days a week of running (I average 4-5 miles 2X week), swimming (I average 1-1.5 miles 1X week) and biking (spinning class 2X week). I also cut my calories down to 1000-1500 per day. I have been following this for 2 monthes religiousley and have only lost a total of 3.6lbs? I have never had this much difficulty losing weight? I don't understand what I am doing wrong? I had a problem early in my pregnancy with my thryoid but it leveled out mid pregnancy and I never had it checked post prenancy, could my throid issue have reoccured and be affecting my weightloss? Thank you for any help.
