Irregular and disturbed sleep.


Q: My sleep has been very disturbed lately. I constantly wake upon resting for two hours, five hours, or some other short amount of time. I feel far more rested than I do normally and I cannot fall back asleep, but then before I have to go to work or later in the day, I feel very tired again. I work night shifts and my job requires me to stay constantly alert, and I don't want to keep taking naps. Should I let this naturally solve itself? Am I getting the rest I need even with 2-6 hours of sleep? Thank you in advance.

Symptoms:  Waking up frequently or at inappropriate times; Rare to get a full nights sleep without medication
