Is blood sugar relative?

Patient : In 18 years old and a senior in high school, I am very active and play two sports and have weight training in the day. I only weigh 124 pounds, lately I have begun to monitor my blood sugar because it was pointed out that I have a lot of the symptoms. I have noticed that my fasting blood sugar is between around 110. After I eat I spike around an hour later, after only a milkshake and chicken sandwich today I hit 167. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, are "normal" glucose levels sensitive to age, weight, fat levels, and activity levels? Because my neighbor who is a nurse said it was.
