Is it possible to recover from fibromyalgia, in fact

Patient : Is it possible to recover from fibromyalgia, in fact I'm aware it is not. However my mum had this diagnosis given to her after a very serious kidney infection causing septicaemia a year ago and has been I'm constant pain and described a cloud over her head. Even on her "good" days. Last Monday she started to become unwell very high temp and had a seizure. The next day I was made aware she was shivering and very confused so I took her to hospital where she was admitted for three days woth iv antibiotics. So the Tuesday she commenced these. From the commencement of the antibiotics she has been pain free, no stiffness and no cloudiness (as she felt prior to the first infection) so I suppose my question is could this have possibly been a long lingering infection from the first episode that caused pain in her body and lethargy? And this has cleared it? Or am I being ridiculous.
