Is my birth control taking control of my sex life?

Patient : I have been taking a low dose birth control since the birth of my son 14 months ago. Before I had him, I never had problems with my libido or sex drive. I've read that a low dose birth control has less estrogen than a normal dose and estrogen is what the female body needs to get wet and have sexual arousal. Is it possible that my birth control is what is causing me to have no libido or vaginal wetness? If so, do you believe that if I switch to a normal dose birth control, it may help my problem? Sincerely, Wants to enjoy sex again
