Patient :I recently found out I was pregnant by taking a home test. So, I went to the ER to make sure everythings normal. After my ultrasound and transvaginal I was told I was 6 weeks. Which wasn't the time I estimated. Than another nurse said I was 8 weeks and no heartbeat is detected. I have to repeat blood tests next week and an ultrasound to detect the baby's heart. Is this common? Can they be wrong about my dates? Because it's a military hospital. I'm retired Army. I have no miscarriage symptoms like cramping, bleeding etc
