Is sex safe in pregnancy Pregnancy?

Patient: Is it safe to have sex while I’m pregnant?

 

 

Doctor: Sex is usually safe in pregnancy though this depends on the trimester you are in. It is advisable to avoid sex if you’ve had a history of previous miscarriage, placenta previa, history of premature labor and rupture of membranes, partner has STI or if you are experiencing bleeding.
