Patient : My 3.5 year old back in August started to do this hard eyblinknk I would not call it excessive really though because it would happen sporatically throughout the day in maybe 1 min intervals or so and seemed to be at any time no specific triggers. I consulted his per over the phone who suggested allergies to blame also due to the fact he was sneezing runny nose and ccongested and advised me to give zyrtec. I did and after about a week all symptoms had gone including the blinking. On Nov 1st the blinking started again so at first thought I started to give him zyrtec because he was showing all the same symptoms of allergies, however now 16 days later the eye blinking is still going on and I have noticed its not really a repetitive blink just like a normal timed blink but harder and I've seen it occur almost only in situations where he's uncomfortable or tired later at night. Is this most likely what is reffered to as transient tic disorder? I have also seen him doing what I would call a slight head bobble but not in connection with the blinking and this may be nothing I'm just on alert and picking up on anything different I think I see right now
