Patient : I'm 25 years old, about 5 foot 7 and 150 pounds. I live in Japan but I'm American. I'm nervous about going to the doctor here because of past experiences. I only have 1 more month before I move home. But I have a list of health concerns. My stomach has had a mild burning sensation with no obvious acid reflux for the past 3 weeks at least. It usually happens when I'm about to eat and continues several hours. I'm also a little lightheaded. I've caught 5 bugs (I'm a teacher) in the past 3 months and have dealts with the sinus congestion and sometimes feverish feelings that go along with those bugs. I currently am sick with some sort of cold or flu but the stomach burning sensation has been frequent an consistent even when I was well. The dizziness concerns me. I used to get dizzy and twice I've fainted, many years ago. Doctors thought it was an iron dificiency but iron supplements didn't help. I currently have an IUD and although very mild, I felt small cramps yesterday in my pelvic region. I'm asking if any of these symptoms raise red flags as being obviously serious (eptopic pregnancy, ulcer, gall stones, etc) Can I wat a month to see an English speaking doctor? Or should I go in right away?
