Itching and discomfort after cervical biopsy

Patient : Hello, I had a coloposcopy 8 days ago in which they performed a punch biopsy, I was bleeding and in pain for approximately 6-7 days, this morning I woke up with symptoms of thrush, very itchy, swollen and a bit smelly. I was wondering how to treat as I was told nothing to be inserted into my vagina for at least 2 weeks (including pessaries), or if it could be an infection from the biopsy. Please help as the swelling and itching is becoming unbearable and painful.
Symptoms:  Itching, swelling, vaginal, cervix
