Iud pregnancy issues

Patient : Ok so i just found out i'm pregnant. i've had an iud in for 5 years and when the doctor saw i was positive he took the iud out and did a transvaginal sonogram but the tech said it was too early to see if the baby was in my uterus but while she was in there she did a full scan of my uterus and it was slightly painful. well since having the iud removed and the sonogram i've had light cramps and dark brown blood but only when i use the restroom. is this normal or should i go get a second opinion?
