I've always been so tired for as long as I

Patient : I've always been so tired for as long as I can remember but I always put it down to work etc but I recently quit my job and it got worse (due to not having work keeping me from sleeping) and was falling asleep up to 4 times a day. My friend mentioned about getting my thyroid checked, which I will, but in the mean time I have cut out wheat from my diet and I have noticed a massive improvement. Also for the past 3 months my periods have been extremely light, almost non existent but I did a test and it was negative and I have also been waking up with very dead legs, unlike normal "pins and needles", I have to get up and walk around and stretch and have a pain in my lower back that feels like a bruise. I wondered if any of this is relative to each other? Thank you
