Patient

Q: I've been having a series of muscle spasms (nonpainful, but constant and annoying) on the side of my foot about midway between my anklebone and the base of my little toe for the past two weeks. I have spastic diplegia cerebral palsy so spasms are normal, but my usual antispasmodic isn't helping. It takes care of all of my other spasms. Calcium (like Tums) seems to help, but not for long. I'm not calcium deficient, but I am for Vitamin D, which shouldn't cause this. I'm completely at a loss as to what is going on. Thanks.
