Q: I've been having chronic epigastric pain for 2+ years with frequent nausea. I asked my GI Dr to perform a HIDA scan after my upper endoscopy was normal and he said it came back normal. I just received copies of the HIDA scan results recently as I'm switching Drs and wanted all records to take with me and the results show a 34% ejection fraction. Now after more than a year I'm revisiting the Gallbladder possibility and wondering if biliary dyskinesia could be the cause of my all day everyday epigastric pain?
