Patient

Q: Ive been having stomach pains for the past month or so. It's sharp burning pains and don't know what it is.

Doctor

A:   Hi,
Thanks for the query.

I understand your concern.
Sharp burning stomach pain can be seen due to causes like gastritis, esophageal regurgitation, gastric ulcers etc.
By clinical examination and if needed by endoscopy, the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treated.
Antacids and taking small meals at more frequent intervals may decrease the problem to some extent.

Take care
