I've had a lump on my inner upper thigh

Patient

Q: I've had a lump on my inner upper thigh for years, it hasn't changed. Should I be concerned? Can a lipoma occur in that spot?

Doctor

A:   Hello. Welcome to ask the doctor.

As per details, There are following possibilities for your symptoms:
1 ) Acrochordon: these are also known as Skin tags. These are completely asymptomatic and can be removed by Radiofrequency machine.
2) Lipoma: it is fat containing swelling, asymptomatic, can be removed by excision.
Visit your doctor so that he can examine you and give you a prescription accordingly.
You can share my opinion with him.

I hope it helps.
Take care.
