Q: I've had hay fever for about a month now and started having trouble breathing about a week ago (i believe this is due to it raining everyday for 3 weeks and then suddenly being sunny--which is when I started having trouble breathing) Regardless of the cause, I've been given an inhaler (Ventolin HFA - albuterol sulfate) and have been using it for about 3 days. My breathing has become just slightly better, but I am still not breathing 100% normally. Should this inhaler help me breathe immediately, or does it take awhile for it to build up so I can breathe 100% normal? Thanks.
