Patient : Hello,
I'm a 21 year old female, who is otherwise healthy. One day about a month ago, I was exercising and think I overused my right ankle, and it started hurting the morning after whenever I would bend down. I rested a bit, and when it felt better, I went back to it. It started hurting again in the same spot, but this time it lasted longer, and after about a week, it went away. After that, I started working as usual and this time it hurt at the top of my knee cap. So, I did research and assumed that it was runner's knee and now I'm resting it. I've been wrapping it, and trying to stay off of it as much as possible, but I think I may have slipped and sprained my (on the same leg) ankle a little bit. It doesn't hurt and there's no swelling, but now there's a tingling sensation in my knee and I just wanted to know if I should go see a doctor or not. I know that this is really long, but I'm kind of worried, and I hope everything is okay.
