Knee pain

Patient: I have had knee pain in my right knee for the past 3 months. I went to the doctor and tested for rheumatoid factor which turned out negative. They also did various virus related blood test and everything showed up negative. I have an esr value of 33 mm per hr and the x ray shows mild effusion in my right knee and mild spurring in the left. Now the pain has travelled to my hands and am experiencing pain in the leg and the hand. Especially the pain is pronounced in the night though I have pain of lower degree throughout the day. I have been on anti inflammatory drug for about a month but that does not seem to help. Please advice.
