Patient :I am 46 M,living a healthy life so far. Since about 20 days ago, I started have mild knee pain, even without any apparent physical activity, it feels like knee are tired, and it became difficult to drive the car, as pressing of clutch and accelerator pedals became difficult. It started more on left knee joint and then started on both knees. Also there is mild stiffness in my wrist joint when i wake up in morning and this persists for about 15-20 minutes. I have shown to a no of ortho doctors and they suggested NSAID (3 times day) with medrol (8 mg) and methotrexate (7.5mg) for a period of 2 weeks. However there is no improvement, and even while slight climbing of stairs or slight walking the pain again starts. All my tests, for RA have come out negative, and ESR was 8. I am confused, whether it is RA or some other types of disease. Please guide me, so that I can take a proper second opinion
