Leaning while working out

Patient

Q: I train regularly with a personal trainer at my local gym. We were working on my legs today, and he had noticed that on every machine I always lean to my left. He isn't the first person to mention this to me, as another trainer mentioned it to me in the past. Every time he had me straighten it out I felt like I was extremely off balance, but in actuality I was straight. I wasn't overdoing weight at all, and even when I was using no weight (for example Squats) I still leaned to my left. I googled scoliosis and found that I don't have the rib bulge in my back, and my spine seems to be straight. Could this be something else? I have always felt I have had some sort of back problem.
