Leg pain

Patient : I have been having terrible pains in my right leg in the thigh area. I have had an MRI of my back and my hip that revealed nothing. Now they are going to do an MRI of my right leg. If it is not coming from my back what could it be. The pain is so crippling that I have to use a wheelchair at work. Also the right leg is numb...What could it be
