Lipicard used during First Month of pregnancy.

Patient : Hi, I was prescribed lipicard 160mg for triglyceride, I am 32 Female, I took the medication for the entire month of Feb 2013. In March 1st week my pregnancy test cam out positive and I was told that I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have since then stopped taking lipicard 160. Please let me know if I should terminate the pregnancy. My 6 weeks scan came out OK and the doctor mentioned that the baby was growing fast(I am diabetic) and every thing else was OK. Will Lipicard have any adverse effect on the foetus
