Long luteal phase, when to test?

Patient

Q: Ok so we have been TTC Since August when I
had my IUD "Paraguard" copper T, removed, when I had the IUD in my cycles were very regular ever 28 days, lasted for 5 days, once I had it removed now my cycles are every 35 days, and only last for 3-4 days, I have been using OPK's "ovulation test" for the last 3 cycles since TTC, I am ovulating on cycle day 14-15?, I know this because I have tested everyday since the last day of my Menstral till the next cycle, now my question is, why would my luteal phase be so long is this normal?, and since I know when I ovulated, and when my next period is due, when exactly should I take a pregnancy test?. at the usual 10-14 dpo? or wait until its closer to my next menstral?, Im very confused because of how long my cycles have been lately, wouldnt a positive pregnancy test show at 10-14 days past ovulation like normal?.. any advice is greatly appreciated! thank you!!
